Once you’ve completed the initial steps to start your orthodontic journey, you’re ready to move forward toward your perfect smile! After familiarizing yourself with our team, determining the treatment that’s right for you, and having your first consultation with Dr. Willett, you’ll be all set to begin the next steps of your journey in our clinic!
Getting Started
After we’ve finalized your treatment plan, we’ll work with you to find appointment times that fit your busy schedule. Our amazing orthodontic assistants, Lexie, Chelsea, Emma, Brooke, Seidy, or Sammy, will be eager to help! Our team helps with steps like getting your braces bonded, starting Invisalign, placing different appliances, and walking you through the process.
Once your teeth are clean and polished, your assistant will explain the next steps and talk about what you can expect. Dr. Willett will also check in to ensure everything is on track for your beautiful smile!
Stick To The Plan
Once treatment is underway, you’ll be coming in for regular visits. Braces patients typically come in every 4-10 weeks. Invisalign patients usually come in every 12-16 weeks. Appliance patients may be seen every few weeks or a few months, depending on their needs.
If you ever have any emergencies, whether it’s a broken braces bracket, any type of injury or pain, or simply just a question about your care. Feel free to call us and follow the prompts to our after-hours emergency line. We want to be able to help you and answer all your questions at any time.
No matter the length of your treatment, you’ll get to know our team pretty well. We’ll be here to support you throughout the entire process. We love building relationships with our patients, and you’ll feel like part of our family in no time!
Completing Your Treatment (But We’re Not Going Anywhere!)
Achieving your perfect smile at the end of your treatment is the best completion, but we aren’t saying goodbye forever! If you ever misplace or break your retainer, need an X-ray sent to your dentist, or just need a question answered, you are always welcome to come back to us! We’re here for you even after the braces come off. Your smile is important to us, and we’re always happy to help!
