Dr. Paula Harre created great smiles at Lincoln Orthodontics, (formerly Harre Orthodontics) since 1995. She is now retired but still a great presence in our practice.
As a native to Lincoln, Nebraska, Dr. Harre graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln and the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry. Upon completion of a general practice residency at the Veteran’s Hospital in Omaha, she started her family dental practice in Broken Bow, Nebraska where she practiced for nine years.
Her desire to specialize in orthodontics brought her back to the University of Nebraska Medical Center College of Dentistry where Dr. Harre received her Master’s Degree and orthodontic specialty certificate. She is certified by the American Board of Orthodontists which is one step beyond the three years of advanced education required for a dentist to become a specialist in orthodontics. Only one-third of all U.S. orthodontists are certified by the American Board of Orthodontics.
Dr. Harre was the Nebraska Director of the American Association of Orthodontists for eight years, representing her Nebraska orthodontic colleagues at the regional and national levels. Dr. Harre has also been teaching orthodontics at the University of Nebraska Dental College since 1992.

Outside the Office
When she's not making beautiful smiles, Dr. Harre enjoys swimming, golfing and traveling with her husband Dan Duncan, who is the Executive Director of Nebraska Innovation Campus.
Both she and Dan are avid Husker fans, attending as many football, basketball, baseball and volleyball games as their schedules permit. Their favorite pastime is spending time with their nephews, Sam and Joe.
And yes, Dr. Harre is a big fan of movies. Her favorites include It’s A Wonderful Life, Gone With the Wind, and Schindler’s List.
