FAQ
How long will I have my braces on?
This is the golden question and the answers tend to vary. Every mouth is different, and every patient responds to treatment in their own way. The average time spent in metal braces is around 18 months, but could be shorter or longer, depending on the treatment goals.
What’s different with newer metal braces?
Metal braces have had a reputation for being awkward and bulky, but our team offers a much more modern approach that allows for a smaller and more comfortable version. Sleeker brackets and lighter wires improve the appearance and feel of these braces while causing less irritation overall.
Do I get to pick what color bands I get?
YES! We offer a wide variety of colored elastics that let you showcase your personality whenever you want.
Are clear braces as durable as metal braces?
Metal braces are known for their durability and strength. While the ceramic option is also tough, they are made from a different, more fragile material. Our really active teens and athletes are often better suited for metal braces in case their mouthguard isn’t properly fit.
